The breakfast buffet offers a nice mix of chinese and western dishes. The tv in the room is super small.

Impressively designed with classic Chinese architecture, the rooms remain clean and come with cozy, luxurious linens. The charming neighborhood offers lots of local shops and small restaurants that showcase authentic cuisine.
Carrying luggage can be a hassle since there’s no elevator, which is important to consider if you've got heavy bags. The hotel's breakfast options are quite limited, especially lacking fresh fruit, and navigating to the hotel can be confusing due to its location in a pedestrian zone, making taxi access tricky.

A charming retreat in Chengdu
I cherished the beautifully styled rooms that exuded character. The location next to Wenshu Monastery made for peaceful strolls after busy days, and the friendly staff made every interaction delightful.
The lack of an elevator made carrying luggage a bit cumbersome. breakfast had limited options and the Wi-Fi could be spotty, hindering my connectivity.

Had a blast at BuddhaZen! The vibes are super chill, and I loved being steps away from the Wenshu Monastery. Just keep in mind there’s no elevator, so pack light! a clean and beautifully designed spot.

The hotel had a lovely inner courtyard where I enjoyed some tea, and my room had a spacious terrace perfect for relaxing. I loved the opportunity to unwind in the beautiful garden area after a day out. The breakfast could use some more variety, but overall, it was a fantastic stay! 😊

The stunning classic Chinese architecture truly made this boutique hotel memorable. The clean room was comfortable, complete with soft bed linens and huge towels. A charming neighborhood with plenty of shops provided great local experiences. however, the area tends to quiet down by 8 PM. Wi-Fi issues were somewhat disappointing, making it hard to stay connected. Breakfast was tasty but had limited options, and the absence of a fridge in the room was a slight inconvenience.

Great vibes and comfy stay!
Really enjoyed our time here! The staff were super nice and helped us with our bags. The room was gorgeous with a cozy bed and cool decor. Breakfast had yummy options, especially if you're into both Western and Chinese styles. Just remember, no elevators, so that's a bit of a workout! 😂

Perfect getaway spot!
Loved staying here! The courtyard is so peaceful, perfect for sipping tea. The rooms are spacious and really comfy with awesome decor. Breakfast was decent, but I wish there were more local options. Staff were super friendly and helped us find some great nearby restaurants. The only bummer was the coffee machine, which didn’t really keep up.

Suitably cozy stay
The unique wooden tub for soaking offered a perfect escape after long days! despite the place having a vibe that seemed a lil’ rundown, I enjoyed my restful moments watching the occasional passersby from my room that overlooked the pedestrian street.
It wasn’t cheap, but it was still a reasonable experience.
